Finally.. I got an Apache! So many tries before and every time they either, just left when I arrived, were too high in the sky for a decent picture or the weather was so bad you couldn’t differentiate an apache from a pigeon.
So I was happy when fortune changed, and what a day it was! It started with the good-bye of the Chinook D series, with the final operational flight from the D-667, and after that we got quit the busy morning at GLV-V! Seeing this Apache, and some Cougars.
